Suché kartáčování se SHAQUDA SUVÉ – jemný rituál, který dává smysl

Dry brushing with SHAQUDA SUVÉ – a gentle ritual that makes sense

Dry brushing is a simple ritual for smoother, more radiant skin. With SHAQUDA SUVÉ brushes, handmade in the Japanese town of Kumano, you can turn it into a meaningful and exceptionally enjoyable habit. Each piece is created in workshops with over 180 years of brush making tradition - and the quality of the craftsmanship is evident.

Why include dry brushing in your routine

Gentle exfoliation : Regular brushing removes dead skin cells and leaves skin smoother to the touch. The skin breathes better and is prepared to absorb subsequent moisturizing care.

Instant "wake-up" effect : Brush strokes stimulate microcirculation and make the skin feel fresher. It's a great way to wake up your body in the morning or relax before your evening shower.

Wellbeing moment : A few minutes of mindful touch will calm your mind and kick-start your day. Dry brushing can be your mini meditation – a moment to stop and notice your body.

Note: The claims of "cellulite reduction" are not backed by solid research; consider them more of a bonus, not the main goal. The main benefit is in skin care and well-being.

Why SHAQUDA SUVÉ?

Japanese craftsmanship from Kumano : Each SUVÉ brush is handmade in a town synonymous with perfect brushes. Emphasis is placed on the precise cut and softness of the fibers – something you can feel from the first use.

Materials and ergonomics : Natural bristles, walnut wooden handles and shapes that fit well in the hand and on the body. Every detail is thought out to make brushing as pleasant as possible.

Universal use : You can use SUVÉ brushes dry for massage, or wet with cleanser for a rich lather. They are gentle enough for sensitive skin and even for children. One brush = two functions.

How to brush step by step

1. Choose the softness of the bristles : Start with a softer option; more sensitive skin types will appreciate the softer bristles. SHAQUDA offers different hardnesses – Soft, Semi-hard and Hard – so everyone can find their own.

2. Dry skin, dry brush : Always brush on dry skin before showering. This way you will achieve the best exfoliation effect.

3. Direction towards the heart : Follow the direction of lymphatic flow – always towards the center of the body:

  • Legs : feet → calves → thighs → buttocks
  • Arms : palms → forearms → arms → shoulders
  • Abdomen : clockwise circles
  • Use long, smooth strokes.

4. "Less than more" pressure : The skin should turn slightly pink, but not burn or be irritated. Dry brushing should be pleasant, not painful.

5. Shower and moisturize : After brushing, rinse off the loose flakes with warm water and always finish with a good moisturizer. The skin absorbs active ingredients much better after exfoliation.

Tip : If you also want a "wet" massage, SHAQUDA SUVÉ (e.g. Body Brush Long BBL1 model) creates a rich foam when used with shower gel and massages at the same time. One ritual, double the benefits.

How often to brush

Start with 2-3 times a week , if you have sensitive skin, 1-2 times a week is enough. Monitor your skin's reaction and adjust the frequency accordingly. Every skin is different and it's important to listen to your own body.

When to skip brushing : If you have active dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, burns, or open wounds, postpone brushing. If in doubt, consult your dermatologist.

Taking care of your brush to make it last longer

After wet use : Rinse the foam thoroughly under running water, shake off excess water, dry with a towel and let it dry in a ventilated place, out of direct sunlight.

Do not leave bristles wet for long periods of time : Moisture promotes mold growth and premature damage to natural bristles.

Lifespan : Dry use only tends to last longer; regular wet use typically lasts 6-12 months depending on bristle hardness and brush care. When you see the bristles starting to fall out or lose their shape, it's time to replace them.

How to choose your SHAQUDA SUV

Soft : Very soft bristles, ideal for sensitive skin and beginners. If you're unsure, start here.

Semi-hard / Hard : A more intense massage effect for more experienced users who want more pronounced stimulation.

Long handle (e.g. BBL1): You can comfortably reach your back and the backs of your legs without acrobatics.

Short version : For more controlled work on the limbs and front of the body where you want more precision.

Short 3 minute routine

Don't have time for long rituals? This basic routine only takes 3 minutes and gives you all the benefits of dry brushing:

1. Calves : 10–15 strokes each, upward from ankles to knees.

2. Thighs and buttocks : 10–15 strokes per segment, always upwards.

3. Abdomen : 30–60 seconds in gentle clockwise circles.

4. Arms : 10–15 strokes from wrist to shoulder on each arm.

5. Back : Long strokes from top to bottom with a long-handled brush.
